Inserting a New BatterBallScore

A new batter is a player who was a defensive replacement first and is coming to bat for the first time. When a new batter is inserted into the lineup a vertical red line will be inserted on the left of the current cell. This line will separate the new batters at bats from the previous batter.

Note: You can now insert a double new batter marker (DNBM) on a scoresheet. A DNBM will skip over a slot when assigning stats. This will allow you to place pinch runners in the correct spot on the scoresheet.

Example:

Slot 1 - Batter #1
Slot 2 - Pinch runner for Batter #1
Slot 3 - Batter #1 - Came in game for Batter #2

In the above situation Batter #1 and the  Pinch Runner will be assigned batting stats with a New Batter Marker even though Batter #1 and Batter #2 should have been assigned the stats. If you use a Double New Batter Marker then stats will be assigned to Batter #1 and Batter #2 and the Pinch Runner will be skipped over.

Do not use this screen to insert a pinch-hitter.
Do not use this screen to set a starting player into the lineup.
