Instructions for placing a runner on second when using the ITBR:

1. Place the cursor on the last unused cell from the previous inning. The cursor will turn yellow if you are using the Alarm System so just ignore it.

2. Select Special/Insert player on 2nd for International Tiebreaker Rule from the main menu.

3. Select the player to place on second then click Ok.

4. Move the cursor back to the current batter and continue to score the game.

The runner on second will be marked as unearned in case he scores. Any empty cell from a previous inning can be used to place the ITBR runner.

Note: If the selected player is already in the game then this player will show up twice on reports, once in his normal position and once as a pinch runner. This is normal and the player will only be exported once when you export the scoresheet. Also note that the scoresheet will not balance as using this rule violates the formula for balancing a scorebook.
