Creating reports with BallStatBallStat

After you have imported at least one scoresheet into BallStat you are ready to create reports. You only have to create a report once since it will always reflect the most recent statistics and data each time it is opened. There are 3 types of data available for reports.

Season Totals - This is the data type you will usually use when creating reports. It is the accumulative stats from each game you import for each player. Season totals are also used for creating leader reports.

Individuals - This data type are the stats you import for each game. When using BallScore to score a game there will be a complete set of individual stats for each time a batter comes to the plate. This allows for very complex reports. If you add all individual stats for a player together it will equal his season totals above. A pitcher will have a set of individual pitching stats for each pitching appearance he makes in a game.

Game Totals - This data type are the team totals for each game. Game totals can also be used to create standings.

BallStat comes with Stock Reports for each of the 3 data types. You use these stock reports to create custom reports. Anytime a stock report is saved to disk it automatically becomes a custom report.
